The needs of families shift when new members arrive. This was the case in this specific project, the owners needed a more outgoing kitchen. This has been accomplished by abolishing the existing dining room that has gathered the entire space and creating a space that satisfies the need for eating and cooking. The kitchen is designed on a main movement axis, on which the user will move along the kitchen and end up at the rotunda- the meeting place of the family. Here, they have a clear view on the living room and the kitchen. The materials used are bright and light so the kitchen does not compete aesthetically with the adjoining living room.
