The house is laid out on one level, depending on the needs of the family. Within just a few square meters (100 in the main areas and 20 for the utility areas) living areas, two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a master bedroom are placed.
The basic idea is to structure the spaces around a semi-enclosed patio, which is the heart of the house, the intersection of all the spaces, as well as the starting point of the pool of the house. The house is designed on a linear grid, which was the only option because of legal limitations. This is how the main spaces and the utilitarian spaces faced the patio, while the rooms occupy the rest of the house, also linearly.
Also, the design of the surrounding area was based on minimum energy losses, for example, what happens when the door of the house opens or when the sun is low in the south. Τhis is the reason why a pergola was designed in the south and panels were put in the north. These elements were then refined in the design process to become part of the whole esthetic, unify the spaces and create little resting nooks.
